Grants Better Energy Homes SchemeHomes built before 2006 are entitled to grants for cavity wall and attic insulation so its a great time to improve insulation in the home. West Coast Insulation can assist homeowners in applying for insulation grants under the Better Energy Homes Scheme (BEHS). We provide the application forms and make the process simply and easy. Once the work is completed and the paperwork filled out, the grant aid will be paid directly to the homeowner.Most homes are entitled to a grant of €600. For cavity wall insulation, there is a grant of €320 while for attic insulation there is €200 grant aid on offer. There is a further €80 allowed toward a Building Energy Rating which West Coast Insulation also provide as part of their insulation package. Frequently asked questions:Who can apply? The Better Energy Homes Scheme is available throughout the Republic of Ireland for all homes built before 2006. Homeowners must first choose a registered contractor such as West Coast Insulation to undertake the work. Landlords and owners of multiple properties may also apply, however they must submit a separate application form for each property. Where to apply? Applications are made to Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. West Coast Insulation are happy to provide the application form to homeowners on request.
